The command of the State of Kano della Police Nigeriana rejected a viral claim by supporting an attack on an 18 -seater bus that transported Igbo passengers to the state.
They said the relationship is totally false and misleading.

The declaration also urged the public to avoid disseminating unwilling information that could encourage panic and unrest.
“The news during the diffusion phase is completely false. We recommend residents to refrain from sharing disinformation and hatred speeches that could cause tension,” read the declaration.
The police have ensured their commitment to the public in maintaining the law and order, while guaranteeing the safety of all residents, regardless of ethnicity or religion. The authorities also started an investigation to identify the source of the false news and promised to take the necessary legal actions against the managers.
The declaration also urged the public to report any suspicious activities or people who disseminate false information to the nearest police station.
“We have to work together to support peace, harmony and security in the state of Kano,” said the police.
