The 5th edition of the Estimated Sportsville Awards took place on Thursday at the Surulere City Club, showing numerous winners who distinguished themselves as stars.
Among the important recipients there was Hajji Gafar Olawale Liampaed, president of the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA), who was an extraordinary figure at the event.
It has been achieved by several key members of the LSFA, including Dotun Coker (Vice -President), Keye Onadeko (technical president), Vera Hycient (secretary), Akeem Busari (vice -president of the media athletes committee), Danny Dannaz, Danny Dannaz (Danny Dannaz (Secretary Atlemartics Association), Danny Dannaz. (Secretary Atlemartics Association), Danny Dannaz (Secretary Atlemartics Association) of the Lagos State Arcitees Society) and Musbau Oseni (COO of the Lagos State League).
In his acceptance speech, Hajji Gafar recognized the significant contributions of the legends and sports administrators present, but has reserved his highest praise for those basic nutrients at the basic level.
Faithful to his reputation as a dedicated football administrator engaged in the basic development, he dedicated his “award for the Sportsville Special recognition” to the young disadvantaged and emerging football talents found in Lagos and Nigeria.
“This is special. The mirror on this plaque reflects hard work and still to be done in the development of talents.
“Therefore, I am deliberately dedicating this award to Stephen Adeniyis”, John Ikennas “, Fatimo Raheems” and Isa Adams “in all parts of the divisional football of the Lagos state and beyond. The reward for hard work, is more work.
“Thanks to the organizers of this prize and a great thanks to my associates and colleagues from the LSFA,” added Hajji Gafar
In the meantime, the CEO of Sportsville Frank Ilaboya, in its observations, has declared that the ISC prizes will continue to support its integrity as a more credible sports prize in the country.
In his words: “I feel very euphoric that we were able to keep the fifth edition of the SV award ceremony, when we started five years ago our vision was to honor sincerely those who contributed to the development of Nigerian sports, and made bold in saying that we have maintained our true intentions by supporting the credibility of the prize”.
The president of Fomer Edo State has further expressed the readiness of Sportsville in view of the subsequent editions.
“Above all, we decided to continue increasing the standard of the award ceremony with each edition, while we are talking that the awarding committee is already looking for those who sincerely and sincerely and impacts on Nigerian sports and I am very confident that we arrive at 2026 that we would still be able to reveal another award list very credible to the Nigerians”.
The president of the National Sports Commission Mallam Shehu Dikko was a special guest for the 5th SV Awards, while Arise Rufai Oseni’s still television was the president of the day.
