The troops arrested the suspect in the logistics supplier of Boko Haram, a Chinese citizen in Borno, Yobe

The Hadin Kai Operations Forces (OPHK) have arrested terrorist suspects, logistics suppliers, collaborators, and Chinese citizens who claim to be miners in the states of Borno and Yobe.

Director of Defense Media Operations, Major. Markus Kangye, revealed this while giving a briefing to journalists about the Armed Forces Operations on Friday in Abuja.

Kangye said Chinese citizens were arrested during the well -coordinated operations carried out in the regional government of Kukawa and Ngala in the state of Borno.

He said that the investigation was being carried out to uncover the motive of the suspect and his involvement in illegal activities.

The spokesman said: “Chinese citizens have been detained and he is undergoing interrogation.

“When the interrogation is complete, we will be able to complete the public with details why he is there, how he was arrested, whether he was the only one there, or if he had a accomplice.

“All of this will be opened after the thorough investigation is carried out.”

Kangye also revealed that a number of terrorists Boko Haram surrendered to troops between June 6 and June 11 in the state of Borno.

He said the troops had intensified their operational tempo in all operating theater to overcome various security challenges throughout the country.
