The Safe Haven Operations Forces (Opsh) on Tuesday killed the alleged bandits and armed robbers in the state of Plateau.
Media Opsh officer, Major Samson Zhakom, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday in JOS.
Zhakom said the troops dropped two suspects in operations carried out in the Bokkos Regional Government in the state on March 24.
He said: “The suspected bandits were eliminated after an intense permit operation carried out by troops in Kaman Zurak in Wase LGA.

“He is a member of the bandit syndicate operating in the public area of Wase and the State of Taraba before he was neutralized.
“On the same day, we received a tribal call about the ongoing armed robbery incident along the Bokkos – Richa Road.
“The troops were mobilized to the area, making contact and overwhelmed by criminals with superior fires.
“One of the armed robbers was neutralized, while the other fled with various degrees of injury.”
The spokesman said that a AK-47 rifle was found at the scene, adding that the follow-up operation was ongoing to capture other free gang members.
