The Veritas University student beats 500 more in Africa …

[Press Release] Student of 300 levels in the Veritas University software engineering department, Daniel Inaju was selected by the union of African telecommunications to participate in the top of the Digital Innovation Digital Innovation alliance of this year in Cape Town, South Africa.

In a letter to Mr. Inalu, the secretary general of the African telecommunications union, John Omo said he had been selected on the basis of a rigorous process that has examined software solutions from over 500 other participants.

“On Behalf of the African Telecommunications Union, (ATU), I Am Delighted to Inform You That Your Your Solution, Fimi Framework, A Secure Php Toolkit That Accelerates Web Development While Embedding Advanced Security Features Has Been Selected as one of Atu’s nominees in The Secured Digital Infrastructure Category for the G20 Digital Innovation Alliance, (G20-Dia) Summit and Digital Innovation Challenge, Which Will Take Place in Cape City, South Africa.

“Your appointment follows a rigorous internal revision of over 5 voices taken from all four (4) editions of the Africa Innovation Challenge series and reflects the potential impact of your innovation in making the agenda of the digital transformation of Africa” part of the appointment letter.

It will be remembered that the engineering students of the Veritas University software won the third edition of the ATU innovation Challenge held in Nairobi, Kenya, February 9, 2024.

Speaking of the development, the vice chancellor of Veritas University, Abuja, Rev. P. Prof. Hyacinth Ichhoku said that Daniel Inalu’s nomination was a “strong testimony of the wonderful things we are doing to Veritas University. It is further confirmation that the laurels that have so far been defeated by our university were not a stroke of luck. We are very proud of our faculties and our students and our students and our students and our students We will fully support Daniel on the world stage, “he said.

The head of the software engineering department, dr. Emmanuel Mkpojuogu, said that “Daniel’s result highlights the potential of his innovation to contribute to the digital transformation agenda of Africa.

He also reflects high quality education and the innovative spirit that we promote within the software engineering department here at Veritas University.
