The decision of the International Defender of Nigeria Bright Osayi-Samuel to leave the Turkish side Fenerbahce for the English Premier League Crystal Palace has not had a good time with the coach of his team José Mourinho, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.
OSAYI-SAMUEL will be a free player when his contract expires in the summer, and several contract proposals have been sent, but he rejected them insisting that he will be free in the summer.
It was close to joining Fulham in the January transfer window, but the movement broke with Mourinho pulling the proposed movement due to the fact that they could not obtain a replacement and that does not want to enter the rest of the season without an additional back.
They were silently optimistic that he will have a change of mind, but recent reports say that the 27 years agreed to Crystal Palace that will be official at the end of the season, when his contract with Fenerbahce runs out.
His decision has not impressed Mourinho, who feels that it is common among the players who were prepared in England, since they always wanted to return home, particularly if the team plays in the English Premier League.
Nigeria’s international grew up in England and began his career there with periods in Blackpool and Queen Parks Rangers respectively before joining Fenerbahce in 2021.
