Tinubu asks Nass to approve N1.48TRN Rivers 2025 Budget – Thage

President Bola Tinubu has forwarded the state budget of sparrows of 2025 of N1.48 trillion to the National Assembly for approval.

The request was sent to a letter read to the plenary session on Thursday of the House of Representatives, chaired by the speaker, Tajudeen Abbas.

The Supreme Court had ordered the representation of the state’s budget

But President Tinubu, on March 18, declared an emergency rule in the rivers for six months, in the first instant, following the persistent political crisis in the state.

According to the budget proposal of 2025, N324 billion will be spent in infrastructure, n166 billion for health, 75.6 billion n31.4 for agriculture.

The president appealed for urgent consideration and approval of the budget.
