The president of Nigeria Bola Tinubu has congratulated Mo Abudu, CEO of Ebony Life Group, for his inclusion in 2025 Time 100 most influential in the world.
The president applauded the recognition of Mo Abudu as an entrepreneur of the media, philanthropist and African cultural ambassador.
The presidential councilor on Information & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga declared in a statement that Tinubu praised his creativity and his commitment to tell the African history with authenticity and a powerful indigenous voice.
Onanoga mentioned the president for saying: “Through his compelling narrative, Mo Abudu fascinated the global public and favored a profound sense of pride and unity among Africans everywhere”.
He said that President Tinubu recognized his vision and leadership in cultivating a dynamic generation of creative talents.
He said that the president also praised his innovative successes, including the institution of EbonyLife Media, EbonyLife Place, Ebonylife Academy and the Afro Film Fund (Aff) from $ 50 million, which had carried out vital roles in transforming the creative industries of Nigeria and Africa.
Mo Abudu, previously recognized by Forbes as “most successful African woman”, continues to raise the image of Nigeria and Africa on the world scene, highlighting real problems, celebrating African excellence and dismantling stereotypes through films, media and technology.
The president, according to Onanuga, wished his continuous success, greater recognition and a lasting impact.
