Tinubu met Jonathan at State House

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday held a closed door meeting with former President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

However, details of the meeting were not made public to journalists at State House.

However, there are insinuations that the issues promoted by the two leaders are centered on national unity, governance and ongoing efforts to stabilize the country’s economy and security.

Tinubu has in recent months engaged past leaders and key stakeholders as part of efforts to address the problems plaguing the country.

Wednesday’s meeting with Jonathan was seen as part of outreach and continuing efforts to build national consensus.
