Tinubu to Wike: APC will welcome you anytime

Bola President Tinubu said on Wednesday that the Congress of all Progressive (APC) would welcome the Federal Capital Minister (FCT), Nyesom Wike, every time he decided to join the party.

The President stated that this at the Commissioning of Arterial Road N16 (Shehu Shagari Way), connecting the Ring Road 1 (Nnamdi Azikiwe Way) to the Arterial Road N20 (Wole Soyinka Way), along with the intersection that accompanied it and the fear in Maitama District in Abuja.

He praised Wike for his collaborative dedication and approach to governance.

Tinubu also acknowledged the support of traditional rulers and local communities, especially in ensuring the smooth relocation of population affected by development.

The President said: “He cannot achieve this alone without your full cooperation as a team builder and player. You have proven that teamwork is a good characteristic of good leadership.”

“I praise the Minister to relocate local communities affected by development, with good peace and compensation. The government has played its role. I urge you to protect this infrastructure and use it wisely.

“He is not a member of my party, not yet. But day he changed his mind and registered with progressive, we would welcome him because we would enjoy him singing as our ‘e Dey e Dey.”

President Tinubu described the project more than just a way:

“This confirms our commitment to the transformation under our new hope agenda.

“What was once a missing link now is modern, functional, and durable infrastructure, an arterial is fully realized through the leadership of FCT administration under the honorable minister, Barr. Wike.

“This road will ease traffic congestion around the central Abuja and increase connectivity to districts -electricity develops such as curtains, jahi, and bwari.

“This will stimulate the growth of housing and business while serving as a foundation for city integration in the future,” he said.
