Troops foil attack, neutralize two terrorists in Kaduna

Nigerian Army troops have successfully foiled a terrorist attack in Kaduna State, neutralizing two terrorists and capturing weapons during an ambush operation. Acting on credible intelligence, troops intercepted four armed terrorists on motorcycles at a known crossing point at Kurmin Aja in Kagarko Local Government Area.

In a successful ambush, the soldiers engaged the terrorists in an intense firefight, neutralizing two of them, while the remaining attackers escaped with gunshot wounds into a nearby forest.

This decisive action prevented the potential loss of innocent lives.

After the clash, a thorough search of the area led to the recovery of two AK-47 rifles, 30 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, three magazines and two motorcycles belonging to the terrorists.
