Two women have been killed and two children were injured in an accident in Ireland.
The accident of two cars occurred in the N72 at Navigation Road in Mallow, County Cork, around 3:30 pm on Sunday.
A 60s woman and another woman in her 40s, a car driver, died at the scene.
A boy and girl, who is a passenger in a car driven by a woman in his 40s, was taken to the Cork University Hospital.
Children’s injuries are not believed to threaten life, Gardai said.
A post-mortem of the two women will be carried out in the hospital morgue.

Local transfer remains after the road is closed waiting for an examination by forensic researchers.
Officers begged witnesses for the incident and anyone who had a record to contact.
