Nigeria’s senior women’s football team is now without a head coach as Randy Waldrum has stepped down.
Waldrum, 67, announced his resignation, citing his wife’s health issues as the reason for his decision to step down from his post.
“It’s been a really tough few weeks since the Olympics, with my wife’s health issues, and the worries that come with that,” the American said.
“After much thought and consideration, I hereby resign from my position as Head Coach of the Super Falcons.
