1 To stem this bad trend, efforts were made to arrest this pernicious virus of dishonesty, betrayal and loyalty fascinated to agreements in order to stabilize the party and advance it.
2. To this end, a G5 meeting was held in Lagos. In that meeting, I clarified to the governor of the state of Oyo, he. Seyi Makinde, who was the architect of our problems, underlining to him that not adherence to the agreements achieved was the ruin of the party and that he was the main culprit of this anomaly. At the end of the meeting, we decided to bury the auction and make progress.
3 Seyi Makinde, he. Umaru Finri, he. Bala Mohammed, he, Bukola Saraki and I in Saraki’s pension. In that meeting, I clarified that I had no personal problems with him. Bala Mohammed, except for the fact that he hides under the facade of the President of the Forum of the Governors of the PDP to renounce the Series for the agreements. The tensions raised themselves powerfully in the meeting and all the interested parties took to calm the deleted nerves. At the end of the meeting, we came to some resolutions, including:
A. That senator Samuel Anyanwu remains the National Secretary of the PDP in Tandem with the Supreme Court sentence.
B. All legal issues relating to the state of sparrows must be withdrawn by the national legal consultant.
C. The cause on the state of emergency is immediately withdrawn.
D. Nobody should differ from the agreements thus achieved.
In light of the foregoing, they pleaded to participate in the meeting of the parties concerned at the loggia of the Bauchi government, regardless of my numerous commitments. I participated in the meeting and clearly reiterated my previous concerns, and to resolve all the other persistent and suspended issues, a committee was formed, led by him. Bukola Saraki.
4. In my regret, Seyi Makinde had convened with Peter Mba of the state of Enugu to orchestrate the call of the meeting of the so-called south-east leaders to recommend that if Ude Okoye was not adopted as secretary, they would have retired from the PDP. Since then I have granted an interview with the effect that that resolution of the leaders of the South-East cannot hold back.
Once again, Seyi Makinde has organized some people in the national secretariat to insist that the national deputy secretary should act as national secretary, in violation of the agreement reached previously. To try to give credit to this farce, a letter was written by the national deputy secretary, asking for a meeting of the party NEC. In addition, the letter that confirms the candidate of the candidate to the party governor in the next elections of the governor in the state of Anambra, duly signed by the national secretary, senator Anyanwu and the national president at Interim, was described as rejected by the party through a confusion party. All these actions are in complete violation of the agreements achieved and would not do any good to the part. On May 24, 2025, in Jos, for example, a well -advertised and adequately frequented zonal elective congress was aborted because the letter inviting Incen to the congress was signed by the national party secretary. Iner refused to participate because the true signatory recognized by the law, that is, the senator Samuel Anyanwu was not the signatory of the invitation notice. This is undeniably unpleasant, provocative and annoying, in order not to say more.
5 I have been in this party since 1998 and I have worked tirelessly for the survival of this party with all my strength and it is known that none of these people did anything close to what I have done to support this part. What is most painful is that I have contributed substantially to most of these governors who won their elections, yet I have not made any personal request to any of them and I would never do it.
Even more important, I had thought I could maintain trust between us, but since it is now obvious that they would continue to play at the detriment of the party, as in the case of the current debacle in the central-northern Zonal elections, now I have firmly decided to extract from all the agreements achieved so far. I decided to fight until just reaches justice.
