Fela did it in the 70s without the social media or a head of A&R .. they blended music instruments without a digital producer (all don manually) to creat music that till today are legendary, Sang live on stage for hours without being vocally stressed or making any vocal mistakes. Long before the voice enhancing softwares that made music alot easier. So now just anybody can claim to be bigger than fela just becauuse there's now more opportunities for modern day artist ? Wow!
