A head of the Democratic Party of the Peoples (PDP), the Bode Bode George, on Tuesday, expressed sadness for the seal of the National Party Secretariat by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).
On Monday, the FCTA, led by Minister Nyesom Wike, sealed the National Secretariat of the PDP in Abuja for an alleged inability to pay the rent on the ground.
The headquarters of the PDP was closed as part of the EFCTA application efforts, which recently canceled 4,794 land titles in Wuse, Maitama, Asakoro and Garki on “unpaid years of land rents”.

The defaulting were subsequently granted a recovery of 14 days following the intervention of President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking in an interview on the television of the channels, George complained that Wike, who authorized the application action, is a member of the PDP who should have paid the debt to show his loyalty to the party.
The member of the Bot of the PDP said that Wike occupied several political positions on the PDP platform since 1999.
“We were told that we had not paid N7 million and therefore we failed the rent of the land. The painful part of it is that the minister is also a member of our party. They waited until the day we held our NEC meeting to close the place,” said the former national vice president of the PDP, to the south,.
“Speaking as African, culturally, let’s look at let’s look like his father’s house where he grew up, where he went to school and became a public personality. What do you do to reimburse that family?
“Look at the appointments he had held. He benefited massively of the PDP.
“He should only have told them: ‘Okay, N7 million, I will pay from my pocket. He reports the receipt to the party secretariat’.
“And you say: ‘See, you people are silly. I am completely busy in this house; I am completely loyal to this house. I will not decimer it. This is the receipt, return me my money’.
“This is what you call a true son of that family.”
