‘Your weak coalition of the coalition has been destroyed’, onanuga mocking Atiku

The President’s aide, Bayo onanuga, has mocked the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, stating that his efforts to form a coalition had collapsed.

This follows the division of the Governor of the State of Delta, Sheriff Oborevwori and its predecessor, Ifeanya Okowa from the Democratic Party (PDP) to the Congress of All Progressive (APC), as well as a flood of detection that has hit the new main opposition party.

Onanuga who made a statement in a post that he shared at X (previously Twitter) on Thursday, described the ambitions of Atiku’s political as destruction after the rapid disintegration of the proposed coalition and key allied defeat to the ruling party.

In that position, the President’s spokesman reviled a coalition that had people like the former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, former SGF Babachir Lawal, and the Vice President Candidate for the Labor Party, Yusuf Baba-Ahmed.

“The future of Atiku’s politics looks gloomy. The coalition he, El Rufai, Babachir, and new members of Baba-Ahmed, rocky together have been destroyed,” Onanuga said.

“Potential allies, including the former running couple, Okowa and CPC members who have died, gave a large leprosy group. Atiku is another loser,” Onanuga stressed.

Another presidential assistant, Tunde Rahman, who responded to Onanuga’s position, also echoed the same sentiment, noted that the PDP internal crisis had been deepening with the division of the Governor of Delta and Okowa who were couples who were running in Atiku in the 2023 general election.

According to Rahman, mass defense remains the biggest surprise ever for Atiku to put aside the 2023 presidential offer that failed.

“Everything becomes dangerous and the future looks very bleak for the former Vice President of the Atikakar Coalition,” Rahman wrote.

“After the Governor of the PDP washed his hands clean from such a coalition plan, BPK’s died wing which was also relied on had support for President Tinubu.

“Today, he got his biggest surprise. His election in 2023, the former Governor of the State of Delta Ifeanya Okowa, and his successor Okowa, Governor of Sheriff Oborevwori, threw a sinking PDP ship and jumped on the APC aircraft, and with conclusions, crossing the Patat side.

“Indeed, the calculation of the Governor of PDP across the APC has begun. Isn’t the Atiku Coalition to die at the time of arrival? As my people will say, a glimpse on a good Saturday will be manifesting starting on Friday.”
