“The next level is now that we want to advance at the level of having a Var here (in the championship).
Sponsor announcement
“The Federation has selected 10 of our referees who are alphabetized to go to Morocco for training.
“We as the League Authority had an online meeting with the manufacturers of Var and the manufacturers of the machine.
“First of all, before you can use it, you must be able to use communication gadgets. You don’t have to do everything to look at the screen all the time. You can communicate with those behind the car and will guide your decision.”
He also underlined the need for sponsors for the supply of machines for the referees of the video assistant to improve the workshop in the Nigerian topflight “.
It is worth noting that, over the years, both FIFA and CAF have constantly neglected the Nigerian referees for the officiating functions in their various competitions.
