2027: Atiku, Amaechi vote for ADC presidential nomination form

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi both chose the presidential nomination form of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The party announced this via its official X account on Saturday, stating that the move marked a turning point in Nigeria’s democratic journey.

Amaechi’s nomination form was taken at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on his behalf by former APC National Chairman, John Oyegun, alongside former Minister of Environment, Mohammed Abdullahi, Nura Abatemi, Asita, and Ike Bishop Okoronkwo, Chief Executive Officer of Bishop Plus Media Services, among other political stakeholders.

Meanwhile, the party revealed that Atiku has officially received receipt of his payment to contest elections under the ADC platform ahead of the 2027 Presidential Election, adding that the official handover of the nomination form is expected to take place on Monday at the ADC National Secretariat, Abuja.
