2027 Election: APC Support Group Targets 2 Million Votes For Tinubu

The Patriotic Movement for Asiwaju (PMA), a support group of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has vowed to mobilize more than two million voters for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

The group said it has put in place structures across the country to mobilize support for Tinubu’s re-election bid, expressing confidence in his ability to achieve the goal.

The National Coordinator of the PMA, Hajia Hon. Zainab Cengiz Abbas, made this known during a press conference in Abuja on Monday.

He said the movement, with its presence in the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), is well coordinated and firmly rooted at the grassroots to achieve the objective.

Abbas said the group has the organizational capacity and national network needed to mobilize voters and encourage Nigerians to support the president in the next election.

He noted that the PMA participated in similar mobilization efforts during the 2023 general elections, adding that the experience gained strengthened its preparations for the 2027 elections.

The coordinator also highlighted what she described as the successes of the Tinubu administration, particularly economic reforms and efforts to reposition the country towards sustainable development.

He urged Nigerians to remain patient with the administration, stressing that the reforms could present short-term challenges while creating opportunities for long-term economic growth.

According to her, the group believes that the policies and programs of the Tinubu administration deserve continued public support and an opportunity to deliver the expected benefits.

Abbas argued that the AMP is committed to expanding its mobilization activities, engaging communities and encouraging eligible voters to participate in the democratic process.

He added that the movement would intensify its grassroots action ahead of the 2027 elections to ensure that its goal of mobilizing more than two million voters for Tinubu was achieved.

The group reiterated its commitment to supporting the President’s re-election bid, expressing confidence in his national structures and mobilization strategy.
