At least 21 people died in a car crash along the Kaduna-Abuja highway on Thursday.
An official of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kaduna State told reporters on Friday
that a truck and a commercial passenger bus heading to Kano State were involved in the accident.

He said: “The accident occurred close to a traffic diversion around Niger State, which forced all vehicles coming from the opposite direction to drive in one lane.
“The truck driver immediately fled the scene. The accident caused a traffic jam that lasted for several hours on the highway.”
