Nigerian musician Oludipe Oluwasanmi David popularly known in the music world as Spyro has taken to social media to urge Nigerians to use their platforms to support the ongoing protests.
The ‘Who Is Your Guy’ singer, who made the call in a post shared on his Instagram page, said that he hopes that God’s servants can speak for the people as they have done in the past.
The musician also stressed in his social media posts about the need for concrete action on prayer and added that even the Bible says ”faith without works is dead”.

He wrote; โI wish Godโs men could speak for the people now like they did in the old daysโฆ This is not a time for PRAYER, this is a time for ACTION, even the Bible says FAITH without WORKS is dead. In Bible times, Godโs men were powerful tools that God used to challenge governments and set people free. MOSES, your people need you now.โ
Spyro, who rose to fame after releasing his hit song ‘Billing’, stated that he would not be uploading anything related to entertainment as a form of solidarity with the protests.
“I personally feel it’s rude to post something that’s entertaining. The country is bleeding and we’re all affected, whether we agree or not. I’m very affected,” he said.
