Police arrest 320 suspected vandals during #EndBadGovernance protests in Kano

Police officers in Kano State have arrested 320 suspects for allegedly vandalizing public buildings during nationwide protests in the state.

State police command spokesman Abdullahi Kiyawa paraded the suspects at the command headquarters on Friday.

He said the suspects were arrested at the State High Court building and other public buildings with various items found in their possession.

He added that the police together with other security agencies have formed an integrated security network to ensure that citizens can carry out their activities legally without any obstacles.

Police Commissioner Salma Dogo has commended the state government’s decision to impose a 24-hour curfew in the state.

He also urged parents to ensure that all stolen property from the vandalized buildings is returned to the nearest police station.

Dogo warned that police would not tolerate any acts of vandalism or disturbance of the peaceful atmosphere in the state.
