The Department of State Services (DSS) has commenced interrogation of seven Polish nationals arrested during the #EndBadGovernance protests in Kano State.
DSS spokesman, Peter Afunanya, disclosed this at a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, and members of the Diplomatic Corps on Wednesday in Abuja.
Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, were also present at the meeting.
He said Polish citizens were arrested for waving foreign flags during protests in several states in the North-West.
However, Afunanya added that the foreign nationals were not targeted by the secret police.
Several people have been arrested by security agents in many states in the North for displaying Russian flags during protests organised by a group of Nigerians to express their frustration over the current hardships and other socio-economic problems in the country.
