Iwobi in action as Man Utd beat Fulham in Premier League opener

Alex Iwobi was in action for Fulham as they lost 1-0 to Manchester United in their opening game of the Premier League season on Friday.

United’s new £36 million signing Joshua Zirkzee was an instant hero at Old Trafford as he scored the winner in the 87th minute.

The former Bologna star came on for Alejandro Garnacho after the hour as United struggled to find a breakthrough.

Three minutes from time, Garnacho provided the assist and Zirkzee finished it off, to give the Red Devils all three points from the encounter.

Noussair Mazraoui, Zirkzee and Matthijs de Ligt all made their Premier League debuts in the match.

Manager Erik ten Hag may have said his team were not ready for the game but they still managed to win it.
