A group known as Bogoro Youth Vanguard in Bogoro local government area of Bauchi State has condemned former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara for launching a media attack on Governor Bala Mohammed.
The group in a statement on Sunday described Dogara as a desperate politician seeking attention and recognition from President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The statement was signed by the group’s chairman, Habila Daniel Dodo, and secretary, Philip Y. Kimsa.
The youths argued that the attack on the governor by the former DPR speaker was unnecessary and unjustified.
Dogara a few days ago slammed Governor Mohammed’s criticism of the Tinubu administration.

The statement read: “He (Dogara) should find another way to return to politics rather than getting involved in a political fight that will further sink his political career.
“Senator Bala Mohammed has not only demonstrated his capacity in rebuilding Bauchi and ensuring sustainable peace and reciprocal relations among the people of the state and beyond, but his proactive attitude has also been a benchmark even for the PBAT itself.
“Dogara brought disunity to Za’ar land after serving as the fourth citizen of this country as Speaker of the House of Representatives and never once acknowledged Komo as Ngun Za’ar in any position, but will appear today to use Komo as a tool to gain sympathy from our people, it is worth noting.
“Only a mad dog turns around and bites the fingers that feed him and make him what he thinks he is today.”
