Nigerian Navy Clears Air On Missing Personnel Cute Abiola the comedian.
The Nigerian Navy has debunked reports that one of one of its own, AbdulGafar Abiola a.k.a. Cute Abiola, has gone missing.
The internet was rife with the news late Tuesday and responding, the Navy released a statement on Wednesday, clarifying that Cute Abiola was not missing but in their custody.
On why he was being held, it was revealed that Cute Abiola had breached the Armed Forces’ social media policy, refusing to obey specific orders.
The statement added that the social media policies were in place for some reasons, some of which include protecting the personnel themselves, as well as the integrity of the activities of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
