Lagos task force arrests six for urinating on train tracks

The Lagos State Environmental Task Force has arrested six persons for urinating on the railway tracks opposite the Nigerian Army Shopping Complex in Oshodi area of ​​the state.

The state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this in a statement posted on his X account on Saturday.

He said the arrests of the men were a crackdown on public morality.

Wahab wrote: β€œ6 violators were arrested today (Saturday) for urinating indiscriminately on the railway track in front of the Nigerian Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi.

β€œThis arrest was made as part of the Lagos State Government’s ongoing efforts to achieve a cleaner and more hygienic environment, under the #ZeroToleranceLagos and #CleanerLagos initiatives.”
