Fireboy DML releases album “Adedamola” on Spotify, August 29th

 

Afrobeats sensation Fireboy DML is set to captivate global audiences with his upcoming album, β€œAdedamola,” set to drop on Spotify on August 29.

Phiona Okumu, Spotify’s head of music for sub-Saharan Africa, announced the news in a statement on Wednesday.

Okumu expressed excitement about the album, stating, β€œWith a huge and devoted following around the world, Fireboy DML’s music has resonated deeply with Spotify listeners, particularly those aged 23-34.

β€œAdedamola” promises to be a sonic journey that delves deeper into Fireboy DML’s artistry, fusing infectious melodies, heartfelt lyrics and catchy beats.

Okumu emphasized that Fireboy DML’s ability to connect with listeners through his music was undeniable, evoking a wide range of emotions and making him a beloved and relatable figure among fans around the world.

Fireboy DML’s previous album, β€œPlayboy,” has achieved phenomenal success on Spotify, with over 700 million streams and appearances on over 3.1 million playlists worldwide in the last 12 months.
