When asked about his participation, he confirmed: “This is my first time participating.” Despite describing his overall experience as good, he stressed that there was cheating involved.

“From the FCT team. All these girls don’t know how to fight and every time I win, they give it to the opponent,” she said, expressing her frustration.

Ayodele detailed an instance where he believed he had scored clearly, but the points were awarded to his opponent.

“I gave it to the girl Mawashi, they didn’t give it to me… Everyone says they gave her ‘Ojoro’.

This FCT is thanks to his money. I can safely say that it wasn’t even the girl who beat me. It was the referee who beat me.”

Asked about her feelings after winning bronze, Ayodele expressed her displeasure, saying: “I feel bad.”

She added that even her teammates were upset by the perceived injustice. Looking ahead to next year, however, she remained optimistic and determined, saying: “Ah, next year.

I will definitely win that one. I will make sure to win gold. If they don’t do it again.”
