Puff Daddy victim of ‘racially motivated prosecution’ —Lawyer

Marc Agnifilo, the lawyer representing American hip-hop star Sean Puffy Combs aka Puff Daddy, said on Monday that his client was the victim of a “racially motivated prosecution.”

Agnifilo in his chat with the media said his client was targeted because of his status as a “successful black man”.

He added that Puff Daddy, who has been indicted on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution, plans to “fight this case not only for himself, but also for others in a similar position.”

Puff Daddy, according to his attorney, was determined to give his side of the story about the assault on his 38-year-old ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, whom he was seen assaulting on hotel security footage in 2016.

The lawyer said: “(Combs) has his own story and he has a story that I think only he can tell in the way he tells it in real-time.

“I spend several hours with him every day. His determination is strong. He’s engaged.

“He’s focused on his defense… (he’s) aware of the fact that this is where he’s at right now.”
