Speaking on the 50th anniversary and the ninth call ceremony of the National Sports Institute (NIS), Mallam Dikko described the transforming role of sports in the promotion of national unity and boost socioeconomic growth. He stressed that with the restructuring of the Federal Ministry of Sports in the National Sports Commission, the Nigerian sports ecosystem is ready for an important restart, focusing not only on competitions but also on sustainable development.
