ENUGU, NIGERIA – September 7, 2026. The United States Government Exchange Alumni Association Nigeria, USGEAAN, Enugu State is committed to deepening its partnership with Igbo Global Icon Projects Nigeria and Enugu Window on America to equip youth with values, morals and mindsets that drive sustainable development.
The commitment was made on Monday during a partnership visit by the leadership of Igbo Global Icon Projects Worldwide, led by its President and Founder, High Chief Nnabueze Louis Kanife, to the USGEAAN Enugu Secretariat at the Enugu Window on America, UNEC.
Enugu State Coordinator of USGEAAN, Ebere Amaraizu, said the alumni network is moving beyond certificates to action.
“We are a dynamic network of Nigerians who have participated in U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs. Now we are turning that experience into action and community impact. We are strengthening ties between America and Nigeria, enhancing professional growth, and driving sustainable development through alumni-led activities. That’s because we unite, empower, and transform – together.”
He assured USGEAAN Enugu’s continued collaboration with Igbo Global Icon to help young minds eradicate harmful beliefs, embrace improved ones and rediscover themselves.
“Our goal is simple: to help our youth replace limiting beliefs with empowering ones. When the mind is free, community thrives.”
Amaraizu commended Igbo Global Icon Projects Worldwide for its giant strides in youth development.
Director of Enugu Window on America, Dr. Edwin Arum, welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the mandate of the Window.
“Enugu Window on America provides a welcoming environment for young Nigerians to learn about the United States, improve their skills, and take part in educational and cultural programs. We offer workshops, discussions, networking, and resources focused on community development, leadership, and cross-cultural understanding.”
He commended USGEAAN Enugu for supporting impactful programs and assured Window’s partnership with Igbo Global Icon for sustainable development.
High Chief Nnabueze Louis Kanife, President and Founder of Igbo Global Icon Projects Worldwide, has expressed satisfaction with USGEAAN Enugu’s ongoing mentorship series for youths.
“This partnership we opened today aims to use our culture, language, values, morals, standards and discipline to guide and educate young people. It will help change the dangerous narratives and beliefs they have and replace them with a better understanding of family and social values. This leads to self-understanding, unity of purpose, teamwork, a resilient mindset and self-discovery for greater communities and sustainable development.”
He commended Amaraizu for various life-changing initiatives and promised continued collaboration with USGEAAN Enugu and Enugu Window on America.
High Chief Kanife was accompanied by Mrs. Lilian Agbo, Publicity Secretary, and Mr. Williams Onovo, PRO of Igbo Global Icon Projects Nigeria.
