The Nigerians are renowned for having achieved star talents all over the world, from education to politics, technology, administration, sport, entertainment, technology and business, among other fields.
A remarkable name is the Nigerian woman based in the United States, Frances Osamor, who emerged as the first black woman to earn a doctorate in computer science and engineering at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) Washington, the United States.
The professional and engineering professional based in the United States, born in Delta, started his revolutionary journey with his university studies at the University of the District of Columbia, where he obtained a degree in computer science. He later achieved a master’s degree in computer science in the same university.
Dr. Osamor made the story in 2024 when he became the first ever -colored woman to complete a doctorate in computer science and engineering at the UDC.
He is a specialist manager for Senior application systems at Wmata.
Outside of his professional activities, he is also president of Good Cause Circle, a non -profit organization dedicated to having a positive impact.
Dr. Frances Osamor is working on her project Maiden Book entitled: “Impossible is Nothing”, a material that tells her personal experiences and the journey to success.
One of its greatest passions is to allow women to pursue their dreams, since it actively serves as a mentor that helps women overcome their fears, limits and doubts.
