Bala is looking for the support of the monarchs of Bauchi to deliver the dividends of democracy – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

The government of the state of Bauchi on Monday urged the continuous support and cooperation of traditional sovereigns to allow it to be successful in the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of the State.

Governor Bala Mohammed made the request when the Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, paid homage to him at the Sallao as part of the Celebrations of the Sallah held at the Government House, Bauchi.

Represented by his deputy, Auwal Jatau, the governor asked Emiri to educate people to the government’s efforts for their continuous understanding and support for the government.

He appreciated the Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, alongside his district leaders and other owners of traditional titles in his Emirate for the tribute of the Save, observing that the sustenance of this tradition by age is a manifestation of support and honor that is enjoying the traditional institution in the state.

“This understanding between the government and the traditional institution will do a lot to strengthen the cordial relationship between the two sides. They are therefore very grateful and grateful for the gesture.

“As a government, which has been implemented through a popular mandate given freely by the people of the State, we do not commit ourselves only to achieve a positive change in people’s lives, but we will also guarantee that life and ownership of all citizens are protected. We are eager to create an environment in which all citizens will pursue their legitimate activities without binding or obstacles.

“For this purpose, since then we have become part of 2019 and our subsequent re -election in 2023, we embarked on the supply of infrastructure structures and social services throughout the state. You will take me that these initiatives have changed the life of the people of the state of Bauchi for the better. Ours are a government that is determined to do more with the small resources available.”

For security, the governor Bala reminded the traditional sovereigns the need to contribute to maintaining the law and order in their sectors through supervision and prayers to integrate the government’s effort in that direction.

“While the government is collaborating with the security agencies to face this and other security challenges, throughout the state, I would like to appeal to our traditional sovereigns to prevail over their people to be extra vigilant and report movements or suspicious people to safety agencies”.
