Ojulari took over from Kyari, because NNPCL named the new senior management gathering promise

Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) Bayo Ojulari has officially officially taken over the leadership of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, replacing Mele Kyari.

Keep in mind that on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 the President of the Tinubu Soccer sounded several changes in the state oil company that appointed Ojulari to replace Kyari, while Ahmadu Musa City was named a non-executive chairman, replacing Pius Akinyelure.

In a statement on Friday, Olumi Soneye, a spokesman for NNPC Ltd., said Ojulari praised Kyari for his contribution to the growth of NNPC and his services to the nation.

Soneye noted that during the handover ceremony at NNPC Towers on Friday, CEO said his management would build Kyari’s success.

Ojulari said he would rely on Kyari’s support when needed.

“I will rely on your support; I will need it. I will come to find your advice,” he said.

Meanwhile, NNPCL also on Friday, announced its new senior management team to complete the new reshuffle from the leadership of state oil companies.

Consists of eight executives, the team will play a role in directing the company’s operations immediately.

The main appointment includes Rowland Ewubare as the group Operating Officer, Adedapo Segun as Chief Financial Officer, and Ogunleye’s Ogunleye as the executive vice president who oversees new gas, power and energy.

The formation of this team, confirmed by Soneye marked a significant step in the company’s restructuring efforts.

Other team members are: Udy NTia as Vice President of the Upstream Executive; Mumuni Dangazau as Vice President of the Executive Downstream; Sophia Mbakwe as Vice President of the Executive of Business Services; and Adesua Dozie, as Corporate Secretary & Head of Law Officials.

According to the statement, all promises of meeting with direct effects.
