2027: El-Rufai leads Atiku, Tambuwal, others to Buhari

A former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, on Friday led the People’s Democratic Presidential Candidate (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, to the former President of Muhammadu Buhari at his Kaduna residence.

Also on the way to the former president was the former Governor of the State of Sokoto, Aminu Tambuwal, former Minister of Communication, Isa Pantami, and former Governor of the State of IMO, Achike Udenwa.

The rest are former Governor of the State of Benue, Gabriel Suswam; And his colleague in the state of Adamawa, Gabilla Bindow.

The visit was Atiku’s second home to the home of the former President of Buhari in the last eight months.

However, he was silent about the problems discussed at the meeting.

He paid his respects to the former Nigerian leader at his residence in Daura, Katsina, in July 2024.

El-Rufai, a close allies of the former President of Buhari, disappeared APC for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in March.

There is a report that Atiku, the presidential candidate of the Labor Party in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, and others also planned to join SDP, which quickly turned into a special destination vehicle for politicians who were dissatisfied in the country.

The visit of the opposition element to the Head of the Progressive Congress (APC) is part of the ongoing effort to raise support for the coalition planned by the disadvantaged APC members, the Democratic Party (PDP,) and other citizens who care about the President of the Tinubu Bola in the 2027 election.

The former Vice President confirmed the visit to the Handle of X verified on Friday.

He said the delegation had a “beautiful time” with former president.

Atiku wrote: “As Adamawa’s Waziri, I am obliged to be in Adamawa during the Sallah celebration. I am of the opinion that for Lamido Fombina (Adamawa) in several Sallah celebrations.

“Today, I have the opportunity to make a post-Allah visit to the Honor Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Republic of Federal Nigeria, 2015-2023.

“It was a beautiful time with him. As usual, he made me confused (until my ribs were injured) with his strange humor.”
