“In light of the weight of these accusations and the support tests presented, the command obtained a valid arrest warrant from a court of the magistrate sitting in Ilorin.
“By acting for this mandate, the agents of the command went to Abokuta, in the state of Ogun, Saturday, where the suspicion was arrested at about 19: 25 hours,” he said.
The police said that the laptop was taken in the presence of legal representatives of both sides.
“He is currently in custody and agreements are taken to accuse him in court without delay,” he said.
Ejire-Adeymi said that Kwara’s police command remains committed to supporting the rule of law and ensuring that justice is served in a fair and transparent way.
