A court of magistrates by Ado Ekiti ordered the prisoner of a 20 -year -old woman, Joy Ikoja, for presumably injured his boyfriend, Ibrahim Usman, snatching his scrotum.
Ikoja was accused on Tuesday by the Ekiti State Police Command for the accident, which according to what was reported around 20:00 on 12 April in the Idra area of Ado Ekiti.
The police prosecutor, the inspector Adboye Adesegun, told the Court that the defendant inflicted the injury during a dispute, adding that he also behaved in a way that could cause a violation of peace.
He said that the crime violated sections 186, 255, 256 (a) and 181 (d) of the criminal laws of the state of Ekiti, 2021.
The prosecutor urged the court to deny the accused’s deposit, saying that he could escape.
However, the defender, David Ogbede, asked the Court to grant the deposit, claiming that the accused was still alleged innocent.
In his sentence, the magistrate Olatomiwa Daramola refused the demand for deposit and ordered that Ikoja was postponed to the Ado Ekiti correction center.
