The Nigerian Civil Defense Corps and Defense Corps (NSCDC) has found five illegal crude dumps in Abuja.
NSCDC spokesman, Afolabi Babawale, revealed this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.
He also confirmed the arrest of seven suspects related to the production and distribution of illegal crude oil.
The spokesman said the special intelligence squad of the NSCDC Commander (CG’ssis) also recovered trucks that were published with stolen automotive gas oil (then) from the suspects.

“One white truck with three full compartments with 45,000 liters ago with Waybill that cannot be verified seen in illegal dumps, four Mercedes-Benz short peddler trucks, and several other vehicles were confiscated.
“Pumping machines, different sized hoses, Mikano generators, estimated 23 tanks built surface metal with several large amounts of suspected amount, container shelter among other exhibitions was also confiscated,” Babawale said.
