Reps postponed the meeting with the Rivers Administrator

The Ad-Hoc House of Rivers committee has postponed its interactive session which was previously scheduled on Thursday with the only representative of the state administrator, Deputy Admiral Ibok-Ete Iba (RETD).

The previous committee invited compassion for a comprehensive involvement of its activities in the river -river after the declaration of emergency rules in the state by the President of Bola Tinubu.

DPR spokesman, Akin Ajayi, announced a delay in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.

Rotimi said the committee recognized a delay request by the administrator and would improve the new date for the session.

The spokesman said: “In a transparent and effective spirit of supervision, the committee will immediately tell the public after the date is scheduled to be confirmed again.”

The DPR on Tuesday founded the Ad Hoc Committee of 21 members led by Julius Ihonvbere to oversee the emergency rules in the river.
