President APC Nat’l inaugurates the France chapter, the supports for the battery for Tinubu

Paris (basic reporter) The National President of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, inaugurated the new executive committee of the APC France chapter in Paris, asking all members of the diaspora to gather behind the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Reforms and renew the Agenda Speranza.

The event took place in Paris during the weekend, where important members of the EPC in the diaspora met.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Ganduje underlined the importance of unity between party members in the diaspora, underlining their role in supporting the administration’s economic transformation efforts.

Ganduje has recognized that while the reforms under the president Tinubu can be seen as painful, he added that “they are necessary steps to reposition the economy of Nigeria for sustainable growth”.

In a declaration signed by his main press secretary, Edwin Olofu, on Monday in Abuja, the president of the APC praised the efforts of the diaspora in the expansion of the base of the party abroad through the active intake of members and mobilization.

He also ensured the meeting that the party is committed to working with the National Assembly to achieve the long required goal of the diaspora vote, allowing full political inclusion for the Nigerians who live abroad.

“We appreciate you for keeping the banner of our party, expanding his enrollment and supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in particular in the light of the critical reforms he is undertaking. Now there are more funding for capital development and both governors and local government presidents can attest to him,” said Ganduje.

He also referred to recent party meetings, including those of the National Caucus and the National Executive Committee (NEC), which affirmed a overwhelming support for the president’s performance.

“At the end of the NEC meeting, a vote of trust was approved to President Tinubu because of the progress that his administration is doing. He is a reformer and has introduced significant changes, especially in the economic sector.”

Dr. Ganduje expressed optimism for the prospects of the APC which were heading to the 2027 elections, indicating the increase in internal stability and the defection of the key figures of other political parties.

“There is peace in the APC, unlike other parties who are fighting the internal crises. Due to this enabling environment, many are decamping for our party, including senators, members of the Chamber of representatives, members of state assemblies and other remarkable political data. Our party respects its constitution and its practices for internal democracy.”

In his response, the recent inauguration of the APC France chapter, Hajjiya Amina Musa Baba Suzuki, reiterated the critical role of the Nigerians in the diaspora in national development, not just like economic collaborators, but also as political parties.

“The Nigerian diaspora contributes billions of remittances and investments, but we are also leading leaders and proud ambassadors of Nigerian democracy,” he said.

He supported stronger support for the chapters of the diaspora, underlining their role of mobilers and promoters of the interests of Nigeria abroad.

“We serve as a vital ties between our people and the democratic processes at home. Our chapter and others as if they act as diplomats, supporters and soft power connectors.”

The president ended with a passionate appeal to Dr. Ganduje and the leadership of the APC to defend the cause of the diaspora vote.

“Under your visionary leadership, we believe that the vote of the diaspora can become a reality. It is not only possible: it is necessary. We respect you respectfully to realize this dream during the life of this administration. After all, where there is a will, there is always a way.”
