NTA Sports GM Lodas FCT Swan Exco per unit in the chapter
Abuja (Reporter Core) General Manager of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Sports, Kayodo Adeniyi, praised the Executive Committee of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (Swan), the federal chapter of the capital (FCT), describing them as “magicians” for their role in the restoration of the unit within the association after a turbulent period.
Adeniyi, twice former president of the FCT Swan, made the praise during a courtesy visit by the EXCO members in his office at the Mosupo Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
“I see you like magicians,” said Adeniyi. “It takes real magicians to take an association after a crisis and guide it towards unity. Your efforts are truly praisable, but I urge you to remain calm, show understanding and continue working together for the overall improvement of FCT Swan.”
The expert administrator also accused the leadership of actively involving veterans and parties interested in healing and fully strengthening the association. He also underlined the importance of reconstructing the trust between members and creating opportunities based on the value that FCT Swan would reposition for greater relevance and impact.
“You have to contact veterans and the main actors in the sports sector. The meeting is crucial and reaching it will require deliberate efforts and supported by all of you,” added Adeniyi.
In his observations, the president of the FCT Swan, Kelechi Onwudiwe, congratulated Adeniyi for his appointment as general manager of NTA Sports, describing the elevation as an appropriate recognition of his exemplary leadership and vast experience.
“Your new role is a perfect reward for the wealth of experience and remarkable qualities of leadership that you have constantly shown. We are really inspired by your trip,” said ONWudiwe.
He also expressed profound gratitude to Adeniyi for his constant support from the emergence of the current Exco, also recognizing the reference results recorded during his mandate as president.
“We apologize sincerely for a late visit,” added Owudiwe. “You have continued to support us in ways that we have never imagined and your commitment to the growth of the association remains evident. We also want to make sure that we will not take your own words for granted, since we remain focused on the consolidation of the earnings and on the repositioning of FCT Swan for greater results.”
The FCT Swan delegation during the visit included Vice -President Victor Okoye (NAN), the secretary Samuel Ahmadu (Savidnews), the financial secretary Niyi Busari (BSN Sports), the wellness manager Joan Iwuchukwu (Sportsday) and the secretary assistant on Friday Joshua (Radio Nigeria).
