EFCC Quizzes suspected of ‘Yahoo’ school operators, students

The Operation of the Directorate of Zonal Benin from the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) began an investigation of 30 alleged internet fraudsters arrested at Yahoo Training School (aka Hustle Kingdom, HK) in Benin City.

The suspects, who were arrested by 4 brigade officers, the Nigerian army at their hiding place in the city of Benin, on Monday, April 28, 2025 was handed over to EFCC for further investigation.

Dele Oyewale, Head, Media & Publicity of the RHE Commission revealed that at the time of arrest, Yahoo school had a full trap of conventional computer schools with desktop computers, work stations and other computer accessories. There are also compartments filled with various fetish items.

He said the items found from the suspects including Toyota Corolla cars, telephones, laptops and MPEG Audio-Layer 3, MP3.

He further revealed that the suspects would be charged with court immediately after the investigation was completed.
