English language week 29: structure of a phrase of noun

Do you know why a phrase of noun is often described as a group of words led by a noun or pronoun?

It is simply because the structure of a phrase of noun is MHQ. M is for modifier, h for the word alone, while Q is a qualifier.

The modifier is a word that comes before the word alone while the qualifier is a word that afterwards.

The word alone is the most important name or pronoun that is the argument of the sentence. Below are some examples.

The man in black pants is our teacher. Here, the man (m) (h) in black pants (q) was really the African narrator master.

Here, The African Master (M), Storyteller (H) Glory Extraordinary was the theme of the program. In 3 above, extraordinary glory (h) (Q) Note: it is not mandatory to have moq, but we cannot help but H.

You are welcome to the classroom once again.
