Nigeria’s equity market closed trade on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 with a profit for the public investment to continue its ranking yesterday.
This follows the surge in stock prices such as the Nigheria Nigeria Flour Mills (NNFM), Mcnichols PLC (Mcnichols) and PLC Champions (Champion) among others on the trading floor.
The Benchmark All-Share Index (ASI) increased to 109,059.33 points from 108,762.61 points recorded on the previous trading day.
After five hours of trading in the capital market, equity capitalization increased to N68,543 trillion from N68,357 trillion recorded by the Exchange on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
The extent of the positive market because 34 shares advanced, 25 shares declined, and 58 shares remained unchanged in 14,870 agreements.

Northern Nigeria Flour Mills (NNFM), Mcnichols PLC (Mcnichols) and Champions PLC (Champion) lead other recipients with growth of 10%, 10% and 9.91% respectively in prices closed on N99.55, N1.76 and N6.10 from N90.50, N1.60, and N5.5.1.10 from before.
Multiverse Mining & Exploration (Multiverse), Gemu Power PLC (Gegu) and Legend Internet (Legendint) leads other prices with 9.63%, 9.09% and 5.41% decreased each in the stock price to be closed on N9,85, N1141.6 and N8.40 from N10.90 previously, N1141.6.80 and N8.40 from N10.90 Previously, N112.6.80 and N8.40 from N10.90, N110, N1141.6.80 and N8.40 from the previous N10.90, N112, N1141.8.80 Previously.
On the volume index, the Trust Holding (GTCO) guarantee led the trade with 53 million shares in 553 offers, followed by the Access Holdings PLC (Accesscorp) traded 51 million shares in 998 agreements.
Fidelity Bank (Fidelitybk) trading 40 million shares in 537 agreements.
In the value index, MTN Nigeria (MTNN) appeared as the top stock traded, collecting N5.5 billion in 487 agreements, followed by a guarantee of Trust Holding (GTCO) which trades the equity of N3.6 billion in 553 agreements.
Nigerian Breweries PLC (NB) traded shares worth N1.9 million in 338 agreements.
