Bayelsa Queens’s players get a reward in cash for the victory of the NWFL title

Bayelsa Queens’s players were rewarded with N400,000 each for winning the Nigeria Women Football League, (NWFL) for the sixth time.

The prosperity girls claimed the title of 2025 following a 4-1 victory over Naija Rates at the Remo Stars stadium, Ikenne on Saturday.

Vera Samuel scored a hat -trick for Bayelsa Queens in the meeting, while Mega Cynthia marked the other goal.

The Ogbonda’s team is at the top of the ranking with 10 points from five games.

The teams and officials of the team should also be hosted by the state government.

They will compete in the Wafu B Women’s Champions League by the end of the year.
