Disabled with me for APC or resigning, Gov Eno tells the cabinet members

The Governor of the State Akwa Ibom, Father Umo Eno, has reportedly instructed his cabinet members to join him in defecting the Congress of All Progressive (APC) or submitting their resignation.

The brave instructions were reported on Thursday during the State Executive Council (Exco) meeting, where the Governor confirmed his intention to dispose of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) for APC.

The source who is familiar with the meeting revealed that the Governor of Eno did not make small talk about his political rearrangement, stating: “Anyone who claims he is not aware of my intention to leave the PDP is still alive in the 18th century,” he said.

According to the Governor, his decision came from an increasingly greater admiration for the leadership style of the Tinubu Bola President and the desire to establish a work relationship that was closer to the federal government.

Governor Eno further issued a strong message to the person he pointed out, emphasizing that he did not have space for negotiations with those who did not want to follow in his political footsteps.

“Apart from elected officials such as members of the House Council and the Regional Government Chairperson, I don’t have anything to negotiate with you,” he said.

He warned that every effort he was pointing at this time to remain in PDP and challenge his influence would be futile, stating: “Let me tell you, anyone who believes that when I leave the PDP he will use the party structure to fight me lying, because I will still control the PDP structure.”
