Adeleke loosened the curfew in an Osun warfare community

The Governor of the State of Osun, Ademola Adeleke, has loosened the curfew imposed on three conflicting communities in the state.

The affected community is Ifon, Ilobu and Erin Osun.

A number of people who were not determined were killed when criminals in three communities involved in bloody clashes in March.

Property which is worth several million naira is also destroyed in clashes.

The curfew relaxation follows the return of peace in stages in the area.

The governor announced the relaxation of the curfew in a statement issued on Saturday in Osogbo by the State Commissioner for public information and enlightenment, Mr. Kolapo Alimi.

Adeleke said: “Following almost a total back to peace in the conflicting community ifon-ilobu-Erin Osun, it is encouraging my heart, as the Head of the Osun State Security Officer to direct that until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.

“I praise the three cities and other stakeholders for peace and harmony that are currently starting to form, I urge you to keep doing it.

“However, I hereby direct that the contingent of all security personnel, consisting of the Army, Police, DSS, and Civil Defense must continue to maintain 24 -hour supervision in three communities.

“Finally, I use this media to hope for our Muslim and non -Muslim brothers and sisters in the three cities of Ifon Ilobu and Erin Osun and Osun State in general the Happy El Kabir Festival before.”

He, however, warned all stakeholders, especially three traditional rulers to tell their subjects to continue to follow the path of peace and harmony,
