Naira closed the dollar with a dollar in an official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, was closed flat against the US dollar on the official market on Friday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 586.15/$ 1 is the same as N1, 586.15/$ 1 which is traded on Thursday.

This is not a loss or profit for local currencies.

In the black market, Naira obtained N5 against the dollar to trade at N1.625/$ 1 compared to the previous day level N1, 630/$ 1.

Naira, however, lost N5 to the British pound to trade at N2.175/£ 1 compared to the previous N2.170/£ 1.

Naira closes flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.220/Ca $ 1.

The local currency also closes flatly against the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,820/€ 1.
